Security film doesn't make your windows unbreakable — no product does. What 14 mil security film does is turn a quick, quiet smash-and-grab into a noisy, time-consuming effort. An intruder who would normally breach a window in seconds is now facing 3–5 minutes of repeated striking to create an opening large enough to enter.

Yes. We offer one-way mirror privacy film and sun-control tint in a range of opacities. These films reduce glare, block UV rays, and can meaningfully lower your energy bills. All privacy and solar options can also be combined with security-grade protection for comprehensive window performance.
No — you don't need to do anything. We handle all window preparation ourselves. Every window is cleaned three separate times before the film is applied, using a process that removes any dust, grease, or residue that could cause bubbles or adhesion issues. Proper prep is part of what you're paying for.
Most residential installations take between 2 to 6 hours, depending on the number of windows and their size. Larger commercial installs may take longer and may be scheduled across multiple visits. We'll give you a time estimate during your quote so you can plan accordingly.
Pricing depends on the size of your windows and the total square footage being covered. We don't quote flat rates because every home is different. After an on-site assessment or photo review of your windows, we'll provide a precise quote — no estimates, no surprises.
Yes. All installations come with a workmanship warranty backed by Sunquell, plus manufacturer-backed film warranties depending on the product type selected. The specifics vary by film — see our Terms of Service page for full details on warranty coverage, exclusions, and claim procedures.
Absolutely. Layered and hybrid films are available that offer both impact resistance and solar or privacy benefits simultaneously. If you want windows that are harder to breach, reduce heat, and limit outside visibility, we can achieve all three. We'll recommend the right combination during your assessment.
Rebates may be available for energy-efficient window films, particularly sun-control variants, through certain utility providers or government programs. We cannot guarantee any specific rebate availability as programs change frequently. We recommend checking with your local utility provider. We'll provide whatever documentation you need to support a rebate application.
We're usually able to schedule within two to three weeks of your initial inquiry, depending on location and time of year. Demand does increase during warmer months. If you have a specific date in mind, reach out as soon as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate.
